The Air Jordan VI was designed by Tinker Hatfield and it was released in 1991! The shoes have a lot similar looks to the Air Jordan IV, but the designer solved a problem that he had with the Air Jordan V where they added thicker soles. This problem was known to create moist on the sneakers so he decided to lose those parts with the Air Jordan 6! Black/Infrared, White/Infrared, White/Carmine-Black, White/Sport Blue, and Off White/Maroon were the first 5 colorways available to the public. Later models of the Air Jordan VI had both Jumping Man and the Nike Air logo. The reason for the Nike Air logo lies in the heel of the shoes that has inflatable Air system introduced by Nike.
