Official Release Date: NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Certified Lover Boy”
NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Certified Lover Boy” will be available on December 2, 2022!
It has been six months since Drake released his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.” To commemorate the occasion, the Canadian megastar prepped an all-white Nike Air Force 1 Low for release through his NOCTA venture. However, the shoes didn’t end up releasing in time to accompany the album. Rumors from earlier this year stated that production on the shoe had been scrapped due to issues with mass-producing heart-shaped traction underneath tips of toes, but newly surfaced images of pairs hint that a release date may yet happen.
As Drake is known to love AF1s, it’s not surprising that the silhouette was chosen to celebrate his sixth studio album. The premium tumbled leather upper features classic “Triple White” tones, while the “AIR” text on the heel is replaced with a cursive “Love You Forever” in ode of the LP. A heart-studded outsole completes the design, and sneaker comes with removable aglets on lace tips as well as a set of blue dice featuring numbers and letters.
Although it’s not the first time a release date for “Certified Lover Boy” has been announced, December 2 is the latest date that friends in the industry have mentioned. If this turn out to be true, it would make sense because an early December drop would give NOCTA a chance to make one last impact before the year ends. According to sources, the collaboration will probably cost $160 USD. In case you’re curious, take a look at some official imagery above.
