What can we say about the classic Air Jordan 13 He Got Game? Popularized by Michael Jordan in 1997, the shoes are reminiscent of Spike Lee’s basketball ...

After a successful run with AJXII, the company Air Jordan tried to think of the new ways how to upgrade and design their new model. Finally in 1997, Air Jordan 13 was released! The previous model had a lot of upgrades on midsole and leather details, but Air Jordan 13 has all of that and more! The idea was to create better cushioning for the inside of the shoe so that it gives far better comfort around the feet. Even though AJ XII had a good grip, it wasn't the most comfortable sneaker because of its weight and thinner cushioning. The cushioning system did not cover only the grip of the shoe, but the entire sides giving the ultimate comfort while running or walking. Many lifestyle wearers of Air Jordan sneakers prefer this model over the others because of its amazing details and design. These shoes were inspired by Black Panther! Both left and right side of the shoe are covered in paw-like design that resembles the paws of the panther. On the back of the shoes, there is a hologram image that represents panther's eye. This hologram is reflective and it gives a great shine in dark. The shine appears when some light finds the way to the hologram while in the dark. Denzel Washington wore Air Jordan 13 in the movie He Got The Game. The model was re-released in 2005 at the same time when Air Jordan 8s model was released. Available colorways were at first Black/Altitude Green, French Blue/Flint Grey, White/Red-Black, "Playoff", but after the re-release in 2017 they were available in the "History of Flight" colorway. The last colorway was revealed much earlier then its release. History of Flight appeared back in 2009 on the World Basketball Festival!
